November 19, 2018What's New
Dr. Vadim Tantsyura, Senior Director of Data Management at Target Health Inc. and adjunct faculty at New York Medical School has done it again. This time he has co-authored a paper with colleagues from EndoCeutics, Adam Beauregard, Clinical Data Manager and Consultant at XLSMetrics Inc., and Fernand Labrie, Founder and CEO.
According to the authors, the objective of the paper entitled: "The Basics of Clinical Trial Centralized Monitoring," is to show that performing centralized monitoring is relatively easy and accessible to any research professional inspired by the objective of overseeing trials with optimal efficiency, while simultaneously saving on-site monitoring resources. The authors concluded that central monitoring techniques presented in the article can be implemented using readily available tools such as Microsoft Excel.
Warren Pearlson Visits Morocco
Warren Pearlson, our Director of Business Development just returned from Morocco and shared this photo from Volubilis, a partly excavated Berber and Roman city situated near the city of Meknes, and commonly considered as the ancient capital of the kingdom of Mauretania. Built in a fertile agricultural area, Volubilis developed from the 3rd century BCE onward as a Berber, then proto-Carthaginian, settlement before being the capital of the kingdom of Mauretania. The city gained a number of major public buildings in the 2nd century, including a basilica, temple and triumphal arch. Its prosperity, which was derived principally from olive growing, prompted the construction of many fine town-houses with large mosaic floors.
